Basic rules of Engagement

For all of you who have played DoD:Source before but have no clue towhat the hell a Realism game is, here's the brief overview. Moredetails will be available in the forums as well as the chance to askany questions you might have.

Realism style play is a muchdifferent beast than your normal, run of the mill DoD:Source match. There are a set of rules that must be followed for everything to workproperly. If you don't follow the rules you not only make yourself lookbad, you also let down your unit. Not good. So please read over therules and feel free to ask about anything that confuses with you.Remember, the more you play, the better you'll get and the more funyou'll have.

Basic rules:

1. The Axis team will always beon the Defensive side first while the Allies will always be on theOffensive first. This is to ensure there is no bickering about who getsto do what first.

2. Teams rotate after every round. Rotationis as follows: Axis defends, Axis attacks, teams switch sides, Axisdefends, Axis attacks. This way each team gets to attack and defend asboth sides.

3. Defense has 5 minutes to set up their barricades and set up in their spots.

4. Offense has 10 minutes to attack after the Defense set up period.

5. No Rifle Grenade priming.

6. No hunting while on Defensive.

7. No using unbreakable props as a barricade. This is cheap and unfair and will not be tolerated.

Please note that the rules are pretty much universal but they are subject to change based on the server you're playing in. Be sure to verify all rules before starting to avoid any confusion.
